Welcome! This is the official web page of the computational cluster at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for material testing and research (Empa) with participation of the sister institution about water research (Eawag).

The cluster consists presently of 46 compute nodes, for a total of 248 cores (partially connected through Infiniband), running under Linux with the Parastation grid administration system.
Research performed at Empa and Eawag in several different departments and laboratories, and with various computational models,  is taking advantage from Ipazia's computational power.

In this page, it is possible to see which users work on the cluster, which software is available together with the libraries, and a short description of the projects.
